Malfeasance - Democrats on Social Media

Don't you just love witnessing the Democrats constantly bashing Trump on social media? It's starting to feel like déjà vu all over again. I mean, aren't they tired of playing the same old tune? It's like they're stuck in a loop, endlessly scrolling through their timelines, just to let out a virtual sigh of disdain at every Trump-related post. Come on, folks, there are cat videos out there that deserve more attention!

But hey, I get it. Trump's tweets were like a never-ending reality show, a rollercoaster of chaos and confusion. It's hard not to poke fun at the guy, but c'mon every once in a while, you could save some outrage for crazy Uncle Joe.   Seriously, President Biden's recent comments about cannibals in New Guinea eating his uncle rank right at the top of the dumbest things ever uttered by a president.

Am I the only one that sees the irony here? While Democrats are busy condemning Trump's social media antics, they're not exactly setting a shining example themselves.   It's like a digital boxing match, with insults flying faster than you can say "unfollow." Maybe they should take a leaf out of Michelle Obama's book and remember, "When they go low, we go high." Or at least aim for a solid middle ground, you know, somewhere between Twitter feuds and Zen meditation.  The same sentiment applies to my MAGA friends who post things that are just as insulting and ridiculous.

In the end, maybe it's time for everyone to take a social media detox. Let's put down the smartphones, step away from the keyboard, and maybe, just maybe, engage in some actual face-to-face conversation. Who knows, we might even find common ground, like our shared love for dad jokes or disdain for being stuck in traffic.

If you have a dissenting opinion, then you might be suffering from DPMS, also known as Democrat Party Mascot Syndrome.  This condition makes you believe you're mentally and morally superior to others online.  This often leads to blaming Trump for everything, defending Biden at any cost and generally sounding and acting like a jackass, i.e. a donkey.

Rankin Senate Issues Hurt Horry County Residents

Rankin Senate Issues Hurt Horry County Residents By Dennis Mitchell A recent article by a Columbia news outlet claimed senators are looking to change SC Senate rules in order to remove Horry County Sen. Luke Rankin from his chairmanship of the Senate Judiciary Committee.   The desire to remove Rankin from the committee chairmanship apparently results from his opposition, during the last session, to the SC Justice Act, which proposed to amend liability law to make each defendant in a personal injury lawsuit liable only for their percentage of liability that led to the injury or loss. The passage of the act was important to small business owners, especially those in the hospitality industry.   Twenty four state senators, a majority in that chamber, signed on as co-sponsors of the legislation. However, the bill was stalled in the Judiciary Committee for over a year and, when it did finally get to the floor for debate, a powerful Democratic senator was successful in tabling the am...

Malfeasance - Job Creation

Malfeasance - Job Creation In a world where job creation is the holy grail of economic policy, our valiant government has heroically stepped in to ensure that everyone has a job—even if that job is creating more jobs. Yes, the government has mastered the art of job inception, making the movie "Inception" look like child’s play. The idea is simple: hire a person to find people who need jobs, and then hire more people to manage the people who are finding people who need jobs. It’s job creation, government-style! It’s like a never-ending Russian nesting doll of employment. Only in America, can folks get excited about a jobs report that says over 200,000 jobs were created.   That sounds like good news, but when you realize most of the jobs created were government jobs, one starts to realize that this ain't such a good thing after all.   Many economists would agree with me that a new government job does not add anything to America's GDP.   Look, America is something lik...
